The Golden State Warriors keep dropping like flies.
Their disastrous start to the season got even worse with the news that Draymond Green will miss multiple games with a sprained left index finger. Green didn’t play in Saturday’s 93-87 loss to the Hornets, which dropped the Warriors to 1-5.
Former Nets All-Star D’Angelo Russell also missed Saturday’s game with an ankle sprain.
Those injuries come on the heels of Steph Curry breaking his left hand. Curry will miss at least three months after undergoing surgery, another blow to a Warriors team which looks nothing like the team that appeared in each of the last five NBA Finals.
Kevin Durant left to sign with Brooklyn and Klay Thompson is unlikely to play this season as he recovers from a torn ACL.
