Thanks for everyone that has joined here, I've not been on here much of late as I've been working on a website and I'm moving away from the blog I've been writing for the last 10 years and instead I've managed to acquire the web address www.wristspinbowling.com Go and have a look, if you have any ideas for content, get in touch and I'll possibly add it.

Have always admired the Art of Spin Bowling but I was never very successful at it...great to watch someone that has the technique honed down to get consistent results

I'm in the midst of writing an article on 'The Slider' because as far as I'm concerned it doesn't exist, but before I commit the article I'd love to hear from anyone that bowls a Slider with a detailed explanation of it in the style of Peter Philpotts or Clarrie Grimmetts explanations of all wrist spinning deliveries (Except 'The Slider' funnily). Good to see this slowly being joined. Anyone got any advice to offer or questions to ask yet?
    Here's one...
If you bowl wrist spin/Leg-spin, are you one of those blokes that consistently gets the ball to drift. Science and physics aside, what is it that you do or happens in the over/spell to get it to drift. More importantly, are you so in control of your bowling speed, bowling action and seam presentation that you could adjust some aspect of your bowling action/technique that having bowled...  more

Hello, allegedly I'm one of the most obsessed Wrist Spinners on the web, doesn't mean I'm any good at it, it just means I'm interested in it and ready to share views, ideas and opinions on the matter. Usually under the guise of 'Someblokecalleddave' I have a number of blogs where I write about this stuff...
