Josh Hamilton, the troubled former major league slugger, turned himself in Wednesday in Texas on a third-degree felony charge of injury to a child.
Hamilton, 38, was booked in the Tarrant County Courthouse and bond was set for $35,000, according to a local CBS affiliate.
The bond conditions also stipulated the former Texas Ranger not have any contact with his three daughters, nor any child under the age of 17.
Hamilton separated from the mother of his children, Katie, in 2015.
Hamilton starred in the 2008 Home Run Derby at Yankee Stadium, ultimately falling to Justin Morneau, and has publicly struggled with alcohol and drug addictions.
